Phoenix at QE
The Phoenix Dance Company, a well-known professional touring group, spent a morning at QE working with AS Level Dance students. The workshop focused on the Phoenix Company's new production 'Planted Seeds'.
Kirsty Johnston, who teaches dance at QE, said:
"This was an exciting opportunity for students to gain an insight into how professionals work and their approaches to choreography. It will be invaluable in helping students to prepare for their exam piece which is to choreograph and perform a short solo."
It is the first year that AS Level Dance has been offered at QE and it's proving to be an attractive addition to the curriculum.
