Presentation to St Teresa's Hospice
Students at QE do a great deal to support both local and national charities, organising a range of fundraising events. This year they have done much to support St Teresa's Hospice and today were proud to present a cheque for £1159 to the Hospice.
Most of the amount was raised through St Trinian's Day when students and staff dressed up in their old school uniforms. Melanie Barker, Student Services Co-ordinator, commented:
'Our students worked exceptionally hard to raise this amount of money and chose a very worthy cause to support. They definitely put the FUN back into fundraising with the activities they organised.'
