Challenges at Brathay Hall

Challenges at Brathay Hall

GCSE Leisure and Tourism students challenged themselves by taking part in an outdoor activity day at Brathay Hall in the Lake District.

Brathay is a centre of excellence in youth development that provides a range of activities to challenge students to overcome fears and anxieties and develop new skills. The students were involved in a range of team building activities including orienteering on Windermere in a rowing boat and climbing challenges.

Nancy Wall, Head of Leisure and Tourism, commented:

'Brathay is a superb facility, with staff providing a range of activities that truly challenge students. Often it is the students who you least expect who surprise you and excel at these kinds of activities.'
