Information & Learning Technology

Male student at computerThe College is proud of the ILT resources that are available for both staff and students. Every classroom has a digital projector, computer and access to the Internet, the College’s network and its Virtual Learning Environment. The College’s Virtual Learning Environment enables staff and students to access learning materials and resources from any computer connected to the Internet, at College or at home.

Helpful and well-qualified ILT staff are always available to support both staff and students with their use of equipment and software.

There are many well-equipped ILT rooms, included ICT, Media, Music Technology and an Art area with a suite of Apple computers. In addition, there are two large open access areas available for students to use during their study periods when they do not have classes. The Library ILT area has over 80 computers as well as colour printing facilities. The Atrium has 48 computers, video editing facilities and operates a loan system for audio visual equipment such as digital cameras.

We are adding to our resources all the time in order to ensure that students have access to the best learning resources available.
