Guidance and Support at QE
We want to ensure that your experience at QE is positive, successful and enjoyable by getting to know you personally and providing opportunities for you to develop and to achieve your aspirations.
Each student has a Progress Tutor, who you meet regularly. The Progress Tutor oversees your progress on your courses and works with your teachers to ensure that you are getting the best possible experience. With your progress tutor you will follow an exciting tutorial programme which will give you an opportunity to think about issues beyond the classroom and to prepare for life after QE, whether at university or in employment.
Every student also has a named Guidance Director who provides additional support to maximise success and to ensure that you fulfil your potential. Guidance Directors can help with questions about your courses and can put you in touch with organisations who support your wellbeing. In the video below, one of our Guidance Directors explains their role and how we as a college aim to support you throughout your time with us.
