Combined Cadet Force
Launched at the College in September 2015, the Combined Cadet Force is an exciting initiative for you to develop employability and life skills. Students who become cadets don’t necessarily need to aspire to a military career – all will benefit from what’s on offer. Membership of the CCF will develop leadership and teamwork; it will also promote initiative, discipline, resourcefulness, self-reliance, endurance and perseverance. The CCF benefits from military training expertise and the use of service facilities for camps, training weekends, visits and courses. There’ll be an extensive range of activities on offer such as orienteering, canoeing, adventure training, small bore and full bore shooting. QE’s contingent is exclusively Army and members currently wear the Royal Corps of Signals cap badge.
