450th Anniversary Celebrations

Celebrations to mark the founding of QE in 1563, when Queen Elizabeth 1 granted a Royal Charter for the ’ free Grammar School of Queen Elizabeth,’ are now underway. June will be a busy month for celebratory events but activities are planned well into October. Click here to view the timeline of events. We want as many students as possible to be involved and members of the public are also welcome.
