Equestrian Success

Anna Aldred, a student at QE, recently enjoyed great success at the British Colleges’ Sport Equine event at Bishop Burton College, Beverley.
The competition comprised of show jumping and dressage, with separate show-jumping and dressage events as well as a combined event. Anna did extremely well, finishing second in the combined event against a strong field of competition.
QE’s Sports Development Co-ordinator, Paul Carroll, comments:
“We are really pleased for Anna and proud of her success at the BCS Event. We are seeing a huge interest in Equestrianism and have a lot of students who are competing at a high level. This is fantastic and adds to our already strong sporting heritage at QE.”
Anna, who lives in Angleton, is studying AS Levels in PE, Law and Geography and intends to go on to University in Autumn 2015.
