A Level results at QE are extremely high. Impressively, a total of 185 A* grades were awarded to 122 students, 4 students attained 4 A*s with a further 12 gaining 3A*s.
The 4 students with 4 A*s are Ben Donaldson, Cameron Grove, Helen Murray and Joseph Green.
Ben and Cameron’s A*s are in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics and they will both continue their studies at Cambridge University in the autumn, Ben reading Maths whilst Cameron’s degree will be in Natural Sciences. Helen attained her A*s in Chemistry, Economics, Maths and PE and is going on to Durham University to study Medicine, whilst Joseph’s A*s in Chemistry, Maths, Geology and Extended Project will take him to Leicester University for a degree in Geology.
Principal, Tim Fisher, comments:
‘I am delighted with the success of all of our students and am confident that that they have bright futures ahead of them. Ben, Cameron, Helen and Joseph are amongst the highest achieving students in the country and are to be especially congratulated on gaining such outstanding results.’
