Funds for Charity

Students have been raising considerable funds for a range of charities including Children in Need and Save the Children.

For Children in Need they wore spotty attire and ran a sweet sale in the student common room, raising £459.36. For Save the Children, the Student Association’s chosen charity of the year, they organised a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed day and raised £616.11. Everyone supported the activities and dug deep with donation envelopes being filled by tutor groups.

Clare Chow, the Student Association’s Charity Co-ordinator, said:

“I’m really happy with the money we’ve raised this year and I’d like to thank everyone who has donated.”
