Plumbing entrepreneur gives students a business brief

Jason Mulroy, the successful founder of JTM Plumbing, has delivered an informative presentation to OCR Business students at QE about how he established and currently manages his business. Jason began by speaking about what is required to set up a business, his has now been in operation in North East England for more than 25 years, before discussing the challenges he faced in the early stages. Students then had the opportunity to question him about several aspects of his company including marketing, operations, finance and human resources.

They found the talk extremely inspiring and some are now considering starting their own businesses in the future. We would like to thank Jason for visiting the College and sharing his experiences’.
