QE Open Evening, Wednesday March 4th, 2020, 5.30pm-8.00pm
We are very happy to invite you to the fourth of this year’s Open Evenings at QE on March 4th. The evening will hopefully help you to make good decisions about your future. Whether you have already applied for a place at the college, considering applying to QE or just weighing up your future options, we hope the event will be interesting, informative and enjoyable.
Throughout the evening there are lots of exciting activities taking place such as Are You a Legal Eagle? Tales From Trumpland and Can You Save A City From A Volcano? There will also be a variety of sample lessons designed to highlight interesting topics hosted by a number of different subjectareas such as Travel & Tourism’s Flying High session that looks at careers in the travel sector.
Teaching staff will be on hand to help with specific questions you may have relating to subject content, course delivery and assessment methods. Require more specific advice relating to course combinations, progression routes or learning support provision? Our team of experienced Guidance Directors, Careers Advisors and Learning Support staff will be available to answer your queries in the college library. Specialist staff will also be available to provide information about financial support and transport.
Many of our current students will be present at the event acting as guides, taking part in activities and supporting in subject areas. This provides an excellent opportunity to find out what is like at QE from a student’s point of view. They will be more than happy to share their experiences of life at the college. Activities involving our students in sporting and musical activities will also be taking place at different venues throughout the evening.
