Brain Day at QE

QE psychology and biology students have recently enjoyed a “Brain Day” workshop with Dr Guy Sutton (Associate Professor in the psychiatry department at Nottingham University). It was a fast-paced, interactive day taking students on a whistle-stop tour of current research in psychology and neuroscience. They also participated in the dissection of a sheep’s brain.  During the day one of the students turned to her usual teacher and mouthed “This is amazing” whilst others have since described the day as “inspirational”.
