World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

The Student Association Executive arranged for the College to participate in the popular, nationwide event of the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Student Association baked goodies for a cake sale in the Student Common Room, which was incredibly popular with fellow students. The event was a massive success with £255 being raised for the charity.   Rosie Burns, President of the Student Association, said:  ‘We really like to get involved in national events for charity, and the student body always seems to give generously. We raised a fantastic amount this year and hope to do it again in the future.’
