Popular Music

On this course we will rehearse and perform in small groups to explore a breadth of music across the decades and genres including Blues, Jazz, Country, Rock, Indie, Reggae, RnB, Hip Hop and mainstream Pop. You will also cover the skills of working as a session musician and how to have a successful career in the music industry. It is 100% practical and coursework based. You will showcase your talents by being broadcast on the QE YouTube channel. The course is best suited to singers, drummers, piano, bass and guitar players. It is an advantage if singers also play either guitar or piano.
