The Interact Club from QE have once again shown their support for the charity Post Pals by sending Christmas letters to children with life-limiting illnesses. This year, students have assumed the role of Santa Claus and his reindeer, writing letters to children to brighten up their day with each message including a fact about the child to make them truly personal. The letters are then signed on behalf of Santa Claus or one of his reindeer, popped into a coloured envelope and posted. Thus far, the group have sent over 1000 letters and student, Nicole Seal, comments: ‘It’s been really fun doing things like this in the run up to Christmas. It’s a great way to meet new people and you’re also improving someone’s day’.

Nancy Wall, Interact Club Co-ordinator, adds: ‘Isn’t this what Christmas is about? Not spending huge amounts of money on material items, but giving up your time to making someone else happy. As always, I’m very proud of these young people and everything that they do’.
